Job Description :

We are looking for an enthusiastic entry-level engineer to join our Observability Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have foundational programming skills in Python and a keen interest in automation. This role will focus on building and maintaining observability solutions across Splunk, OpenTelemetry (OTel), Dynatrace, and Catchpoint.

Role and Responsibility:

• Automate repetitive operational tasks using Python and scripting.
• Innovate to solve complex problems with generative AI driven solutions
• Support the configuration and troubleshooting of monitoring platforms (Splunk, Dynatrace, Catchpoint)
• Assist in instrumenting services with OpenTelemetry for metrics, logs, and traces
• Collaborate with team members to improve monitoring coverage and reliability

Education and Skills :

• Proficiency in Python with basic exposure to automation
• Understanding of monitoring and logging concepts
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn observability tools
• Quick learner and good analytical skills
• Familiarity with Splunk queries, OTel collectors, or APM tools. Exposure to git-based development and ci/cd workflows and scripting beyond Python
