Job Description :

The Corporate IT Intern will support the IT Service Desk team in providing technical assistance for Windows and Mac hardware, software troubleshooting, and user support. This internship is designed for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT support environment while developing core technical and customer service skills. This role requires an individual with problem-solving abilities, excellent customer service skills, and an understanding of Microsoft, Jira, and other products.

Role and Responsibility :
  • Technical Support: Provide first level support for Windows and Mac hardware, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Microsoft Support: Assist customers with Microsoft software products, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction through clear communication and effective problem resolution.
  • Issue Documentation: Document all support interactions and resolutions in the company’s ticketing system to maintain accurate records and identify recurring issues.
  • Knowledge Base Development: Contribute to creating and updating internal documentation, FAQs, and how-to guides based on common support requests.
  • Hardware Setup: Assist with laptop/desktop provisioning, peripheral setup, and basic hardware diagnostics.
  • Learning and Development: Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to build IT support competencies.
Education and Skills :
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Some prior exposure to IT support (personal projects, college lab work, part-time roles, or coursework) is beneficial but not required.
  • Basic familiarity with Windows and/or Mac operating systems, common office applications, and fundamental networking concepts (IP addressing, Wi-Fi, VPN).
  • Strong willingness to learn, good communication skills in English, customer-friendly attitude, and basic problem-solving abilities.
  • Any foundational certifications (Microsoft certifications, ITIL Foundation) are a plus but not mandatory.
  • This position will be based in our office environment. The intern will work closely with the IT Service Desk Manager and a team, handling support requests in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. The role provides exposure to real-world IT service management processes including incident management, request fulfillment, and documentation
