Role and Responsibility :
- Looking for a motivated and innovative digital design intern with knowledge of ASIC and Firmware development flows. The candidate would be working as part of an experienced mixed-signal design and verification team, targeting the current and next generation NRZ and PAM-based SerDes products. Theoretical and practical background in high-speed serializer and data recovery circuits is a definite plus. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a professional team of digital and mixed-signal engineers accountable for delivering high-end mixed-signal designs from specification development to performing functional and performance tests on prototype test-chips. The PHY IP development is dynamic and provides an endless list of challenges. The candidate would have an initial training done by the top experts in the field and continuous on the job training and assignments. The work is challenging, gives the constant technological changes, ownership and the need to charter unknown waters.
Education and Skills :
- Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics
- Exposure to dynamic simulation verification covering System Verilog, Verilog, methodologies, debug, low power, coverage is an advantage
- Exposure to Synopsys EDA tools (VCS, Verdi) would be an added advantage
- Solid fundamentals in Digital design, HDLs (Verilog/VHDL) and System Verilog
- Excellent written and oral communication skills is a must as the role requires interfacing with clients, review their challenges, proposing solutions
- Must have working knowledge on UNIX, Tcl and/or any other scripting language to be effective
- Team player, partners with multiple stakeholders, has attention to detail and innovative mindset
- Motivated, doer and self-organized team worker with good social communication skills
- Open to travel, ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented
