Job Title : Data Engineer

Role and Responsibility :

• Works with business stakeholders to identify business problems, opportunities and/or initiatives for which analytics models may provide insights that can contribute to or drive the development of an approach or solution
• Conceptualizes designs and develops analytics models in addressing complex business problems, discovering insights and identifying opportunities using a hypothesis-driven approach
• Translates data into information and insights with clear scenario analysis and business impact and execution plan to drive impact
• Works with other team members to include accurate and relevant data for machine learning models, including identification of potential proxy data sources, and design business analytics solutions, considering current and future needs, infrastructure and security requirements, load frequencies, etc..
• Conducts data analysis and designs and develops moderately complex analytic algorithms
• Models and frames business scenarios that are meaningful and which impacts critical business processes and/or decisions
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to select relevant sources of information, translates business requirements into semantic access, conceptual, logical and/or physical data models
• Executes data profiling and preventative procedures to improve data quality; uses technology to extract and analyze raw data
•  Identifies opportunities and supports the development of automated solutions that will enhance the quality of enterprise data
• Codes, tests, debugs and documents complex programs, and enhances existing programs to ensure that data processing production systems continue to meet user requirements
• Works to develop the specifications of customer and user specific reports including network exclusions, special circumstances, and custom data elements
• Identifies complex areas to solve new technical problems and provides innovative technical solutions within data science and machine learning

Education and Skills :

• EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience. 
• Preferred Certifications:
• Advanced Data Analytics Certifications
• SAS Statistical Business Analyst Professional Certification
• WORK EXPERIENCE:
• 0-2 years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in healthcare data analytics or data engineering.
