Job Description :

Software Test Engineer carries management responsibilities for a group of testing engineers; responsible for segments of the planning, design, and execution of tests and is expected to provide professional and technical leadership for the group, raise risks, suggest mitigations and make decisions.

Role and Responsibility :

You will execute test procedures and/ or scripts either manually or by automated tools. Tracks and reports on the test execution in a timely manner with attention given to achieving a high level of quality.
You will gather and document the outcome of test executions and all information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage.
You will analyze reports discrepancies to determine the root cause and will evaluate script failures at a high level.
You will compare and analyze system behavior vs. expected results/KPIs based on business and technical requirements. Identifies issues, proposes system improvements and performs repetitive test execution to resolve identified issues.
You will participate and contribute to internal design reviews of testing materials.

Education and Skills :

Bachelor’s/Master degree in Science/ IT/ Computer Science or equivalent – 2023 pass out (Fulltime course)
Required Experience : 0 – 6 Months
knowledge in Programming, testing tools and testing methodologies.
Solid knowledge of SQL, DB (Oracle & PostgreSQL) and scripting
Linux knowledge
Knowledge with JIRA advantage
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development
Knowledge in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
Multi-tasking abilities.
Being team player
Good communication skill
Comfortable to work in Shifts
